Amnesty Period - Application Amendment Process and Character & Fitness for the Bar Form - Due: Sat. Oct. 15. The ABA requires approved law schools to inform students of the importance of determining applicable character, fitness, and other qualifications to practice law. Students are required to certify that their law school application is true, accurate, and complete. Please refer to the email sent to you with the subject: Amnesty Period -- Application Amendment Process and Character & Fitness for the Bar. If you need to make an amendment, contact New York City’s Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP) for advice.

Please also note that the third Writing Center LL.M./Upper-Year Workshop is now open for registration, info below. The Writing Center hosts a series of workshops for LL.M. and upper-year J.D. students throughout the fall semester. Each workshop will be held in-person, at three separate times, and registration will open on a rolling basis. Rule Synthesis Review how to synthesize legal rules, and practice synthesizing rules from multiple sources. Open to LL.M.s, 2Ls, and 3Ls. Limit 20 people.

- Fall 2022 Final Exam Reschedule Request Form: The form will be open from today, Mon. Oct 3 at 12:00 p.m. EDT through Tues. Nov. 1 at 12:00 p.m. EDT on our Fall 2022 Exams website under the second accordion: Rescheduling a Law School Exam

- Through Oct. 15: Withdrawal from classes permitted; the notation of W will be recorded on the transcript. Please fill out the Withdrawal form on our Registration Forms website.

- If you are planning to split the credits for your supervised research into two semesters, Fall 2022 and Spring 2023, please fill out the Year Course (YC) Grade form on our Registration Forms website due 12/22.
