Public Interest Monday: Radical Lawyering in Conservative Spaces
Interested in environmental rights in the South or public defense in Oklahoma? Want to learn more about the fight for economic justice in Mississippi? Thinking about capital defense in Texas? Curious about how lawyers push for radical change in conservative places?
Hear from practitioners across the country about how they work in political environments that are deeply counter to their beliefs and legal missions—and why you might want to, too.
Allyson Merlin '21, Associate Attorney, Southern Environmental Law Center
Estelle Hebron-Jones, Director of Special Projects, Texas Defender Service

Public Interest Monday: Making the Most of Your 1L Summer
Summer internships hold enormous value! Make the most of yours by getting the view of summer internships from the other side—the employer's. What do public interest supervisors look for in their interns? What stands out? What is expected but not said? How can you have a rewarding experience and get good assignments, great recommendations, and mentorship? This program is especially recommended for students thinking about public interest careers.
Save the Dates!
