Public Interest Essay Competition
The University of Pennsylvania Law ReviewPublic Interest Essay Competition is accepting student-authored articles on the topic of social justice and public interest law. The winner will be awarded a $5,000 grant to implement a public interest project related to the article and a $500 cash prize. Deadline: 2/1/22
The Public Interest Legal Career (PILC) Fair (2/3-2/4) provides a forum for public interest employers and students can connect through interviews for summer internships and at information tables. You'll be hearing more from SJI about PILC—we are here to help you prep!

3Ls: Public Service Bridge Loan
The Public Service Bridge Loan provides public interest 3Ls an LRAP-eligible loan ($10,000 max.) for bar course registration and other postgraduate living expenses. The application is due 5/13.
NYC Metro Area Public Interest Employer Web Series
These panels feature practitioners from city and federal government, civil and criminal prosecution, civil, housing, and children's rights, environmental, family, and immigration law, international human rights, and public defense/criminal defense.
