Deadlines

 
Tues. Feb. 15 is the deadline to withdraw from a Spring '22 Law School course; the grade of F will be recorded for withdrawals after this date.
 
If enrolled in Financial Statement Analysis and Interpretation (L6205) and you wish to take this course for a letter grade please fill out this form by Tues. Feb. 15 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
 
The CLS International Study Application for international semester, global alliance and dual degree programs is open until March 1. Students should follow these instructions before starting an application. Questions?

Public Safety's Lion Safe App is recognized as one of the best Apps on campus! Over 8300 Downloads! Available for iOS and Android devices. Lion Safe allows easy access to all Public Safety resources at the touch of a button including emergency services, maps, shuttle schedules, crime alerts, emergency protocols, campus safety notifications, non-emergency numbers for each campus and a new feature called Friend Walk. Questions?

- Enjoy free coffee, tea, fruit, and bakery goods in the lobby of William and June Warren Hall each morning from 8:00-10:30 a.m., Mon.-Thurs. through the end of the semester. As a reminder, free coffee and tea is also available in Lenfest Cafe from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Mon.-Thurs. as well. 

- The Academic Coaching Center opens today! Coaches will be available to assist you with specific questions about your foundation courses until the last day of class (April 27). Student Services will send the sign-up information today at 12 p.m. EST. Questions?

Judicial Clerkships


- Faculty Clerkships Panel - Tues. (2s Day) Feb. 22, 12:10pm - 1:10 p.m. (RSVP) A panel discussion on the faculty perspective on how to best approach your coursework; develop a professional relationship with your potential faculty recommenders; how to request a recommendation letter before graduation; and why staying in touch throughout your career is important, particularly in respect of alumni clerkship opportunities, including at the U.S. Supreme Court. This event will be in person, with the option to tune in via Zoom. Food will be provided for those who RSVP in advance.

- The State of the Private Sector Market - Tues. Feb. 15, 12:10-1:10 p.m. (RSVP) James Jones, the Senior Fellow at Georgetown Law’s Center on Ethics and the Legal Profession and Director of the Center’s Program on Trends in Law Practice, will review 2021 trends affecting private sector law practice and share his thoughts on how the practice will evolve in 2022.

The on-demand, point-to-point Public Safety Evening Shuttle by Via has replaced the escort service at the Morningside campus. Additionally, the Intercampus Shuttle runs Monday to Saturday, excluding University holidays.

Lawyers Assistance Program

A free, confidential service available to law students and their family members in NYC who are struggling with alcohol or drug abuse, depression, anxiety and stress, as well as other addictions and mental health issues. The hotline is available 24/7: 212.302.5787.

Back-up Child Care

Full-time enrolled Law School students can receive up to 60 hours of back-up care per academic year through Bright Horizons.
