What a Summer in National Security Law Looks Like: 1L Summer Job Panel

Second- and third-year students who spent their 1L summers at the Department of Justice, SDNY, EDNY, the Department of the Treasury, and the Department of Homeland Security will join us for a discussion. Topics will include the range of prospective federal employers, application timelines and materials, the interview proces, and how different 1L summer roles have informed participants’ subsequent work and study. Lunch will be provided. Organized by National Security Law Students, cosponsored by the PI/PS Office.

Religion Law Goes Far Beyond Religion

The Secularism Society is hosting speaker Bradley Girard from Americans United for Separation of Church and State. Girard will speak about his previous work in labor and employment law and how that led to his role at Americans United, the state of religious freedoms in the U,S., and how students can get involved.
