Social Justice Initiatives (SJI) will help students navigate the process of searching for a summer job. SJI will provide information on useful resources for your job search and highlight important deadlines. This program is mandatory for all 1L students. 1Ls must attend this program in order to schedule a career advising appointment with an adviser in SJI, OCS or OJC. Learn about the Externship on the Federal Government--Semester in Washington, DC, which allows students to earn academic credit while working full-time within federal government law offices or Washington, DC-based nonprofits. The externship is open to 3Ls in the fall and 2Ls and 3Ls in the spring.
