Skadden Fellowship Info Session

Any student planning to work in public interest after graduation is strongly encouraged to attend. The Skadden Fellowship supports public interest work with a host. Kathleen Rubenstein, Skadden Foundation executive director, will talk about the fellowship, its project requirements, and the application process. Patricia Okonta '18 will discuss her experience as a fellow. There will be a Q&A, so bring at least one good question! Lunch will be provide in person.

Skadden applications are due in September 9. You are eligible if you will be a 3L or a judicial clerk at that time.

SJI and Financial Aid will provide a solid introduction to Columbia's Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP), the latest improvements, the three LRAP tracks, "Enhanced LRAP," and frequently asked questions. With the Office of Judicial Clerkships, SPIN. Lunch will be provided in person.

$10,000 (includes CSF or HRIP earnings)
Open to 1Ls. Funds work in public interest or government in select cities.

Public Service Catalyst Fellowship
$5,000 ($2,500 from CSF, $2500 from Catalyst)
Open to 1Ls and 2Ls. Funds work at specific kinds of public interest or government employers.

John Paul Stevens Fellowship
$2,500 (in addition to CSF earnings)
Open to 1Ls. Funds work in public interest or government, not including judicial internships.

New 2L Scholarship

Judge Bernard S. Meyer Scholarship
$5,000, Due April 8
Awarded to a 2L who excels in legal writing and advocacy skills.
