Call for Student Reps - Reimagining the Law Library: The Law School will undertake a multi-year project to renovate—and fully reimagine—the Law Library into a marquee space befitting its place at the nexus of student learning, groundbreaking scholarship, and community life. The Steering Committee is seeking student representation to help guide aspects of the design -- in particular, to provide input on the selection of furniture, finishes, and technology, as well as on sharing plans and information with the community. We expect that the Steering Committee will meet four times during the spring semester, starting in January. Please fill out this form if you are interested. The deadline to apply is Fri. Dec. 9 at 5:00 p.m. Students will be notified by the end of the exam period.
OJC Staffing Updates: As the fall semester comes to an end, we are excited to share some staffing updates. We wish you all the best during your final exams and best wishes for a restorative winter break.
Save the Date for Clerkships 201 Event- Jan. 19: Over the past three years, nearly 70% of our graduates obtain their clerkships near or right after graduation. For ex., the Class of '21 graduated with ~70 clerkships, but now has a record number of clerkships: 125. This means that May-June is very busy for our May JD graduates, not just 2Ls. OJC is here to help you prepare for that rush, whether you're new to the process or returning after your first try last summer. Join us to learn more about how best to approach your final semester at CLS. Details to follow in the New Year.
For the fourth year in a row, OJC will launch its signature Clerkship Peer Mentor Program in January. Please keep an eye out for solicitations to join so you can be matched with an alum or other 3L mentor in January.
Spring 2023 Add/Drop Handbook: Please review the handbook on our Resources page.
