Join us for a discussion on the myriad legal attacks on LGBTQIA+ communities, from mushrooming state and local laws limiting or dismantling protections for trans youth, to the banning of queer-friendly books in schools and libraries, to the Supreme Court’s decision in favor of a graphic designer opposed to designing wedding websites for same-sex couples (303 Creative LLC v. Elenis), and more. Moderator: Hasan Shafiqullah, specialist career adviser, Office of Public Interest/Public Service Law and Careers.

Join us for a discussion of Professor Gerrard’s article, his perspective on how environmental lawyers can best meet this moment, and more.

The PI/PS Office will be hosting a lunch fair called "The Scoop" on October 4. At the fair, 1Ls will visit tables organized by interest area to get the scoop on summer jobs from 2Ls and 3Ls who interned in public interest, government, the judiciary, or human rights.
