SCOTUS Roundup - Weds. Sept. 21, 12:10-1:10 p.m. in JG 104. Professors Gillian Metzger, Katherine Franke, Michael Gerrard, and Fred Smith will discuss key Supreme Court decisions from the past term year, with a look ahead at what to expect in October Term 2022. This discussion will be moderated by Vice Dean of Intellectual Life Kathryn Judge and Dean Gillian Lester will offer opening remarks. Lunch will be served on a first come first served basis. Insurance 101: A Workshop on Student Health Insurance: This brief 20-minute workshop is geared toward helping you better understand your insurance plan and how to make the most of it. We will review all the basics so that you can be confident in understanding and utilizing your coverage under the Columbia Student Health Insurance Plan. We will also have a Q&A following the presentation. Click the times on the left panel to register. Questions are encouraged! If you don’t understand something, odds are, many others do not either! Financial & Child Care Financial Wellness Resources - Students experiencing unexpected financial need, including food and housing insecurity, may be eligible for additional assistance. To apply for emergency assistance, complete the funding request form.
Lawyers Assistance Program - A free, confidential service available to law students and their family members in NYC who are struggling with alcohol or drug abuse, depression, anxiety and stress, as well as other addictions and mental health issues.
