The deadline to register for Major Writing Credit and supervised research is 9/21.

Note the 11am drop deadline and 12pm add deadline on Sept. 13 for Sept. 14 interviews, and on Sept. 14 for Sept. 15 interviews.

Carol Sanger, Barbara Aronstein Black Professor of Law, Kate Andrias, Professor of Law, Kerrel Murray, Associate Professor of Law, and Ashraf Ahmed, Academic Fellow and Lecturer in Law will discuss key Supreme Court decisions from the past term year, with a look ahead at what to expect in October Term 2021. Dean Andrea Saavedra will moderate, and Dean Gillian Lester will offer opening remarks.

Alum Spotlight: Ashley Taylor '21

Ashley Taylor ’21 came to law school knowing she wanted to help people. She studied public policy as an undergraduate in her home state of Ohio, where she joined the National Guard (transferring to the New York branch during her 1L year). Her experiences at Columbia Law School have inspired her to become an advocate for criminal justice reform.

In the of Fall 2021 Ashley started a two-year fellowship with the Oregon Federal Public Defenders. In 2023, she will begin a clerkship with the Hon. Michael Watson, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Read more about Ashley here.

CU Safety Escorts

The on-demand, point-to-point Public Safety Evening Shuttle by Via has replaced the escort service at the Morningside campus.
