Academic Success: Lessons Learned from the Fall - Weds. Feb. 1, 12:10-1:00 p.m. in JG 103. Now that you've received your first semester grades, you might be asking yourself a lot of questions. "What should I - or should I not - take away from last semester? Should I approach this semester differently? How important are first-semester grades? What if I did well? What if I'm not happy with how I did?" Come hear Prof. Michael Heller provide his insight into how best to think about these questions and more. - Getting Around Safely: A highlight of the various options available to the Columbia community: Intercampus Shuttle: This bus runs Monday to Saturday (excluding University holidays) among Columbia’s Morningside, Manhattanville, and CUIMC campuses. Manhattanville Loop: This bus connects frequently visited places on the Morningside and Manhattanville campuses and operates Monday to Friday (excluding University holidays). The Passio Go! app allows you to view University buses in “real-time” as they travel. On-Demand Evening Shuttle: This service provides transportation around the Morningside and Manhattanville campuses until 3:00 AM. Symplicity's Job Search Tools & Resources - Includes application material templates, guides, podcasts, and links to useful resources. Symplicity's Job/Scholarship/Fellowship Postings - CLS students and alumni can search for summer and post-graduate employment, as well as, semester internships/externships. External organizations also share writing competitions, scholarships, and educational opportunities through this site.
Financial & Child Care Financial Wellness Resources - Students experiencing unexpected financial need, including food and housing insecurity, may be eligible for additional assistance. To apply for emergency assistance, complete the funding request form. CU Food Pantry Back-up Child Care - Full-time enrolled Law School students can receive up to 60 hours of back-up care per academic year through Bright Horizons. Child Care & Schooling Services
