Thurs. Feb. 15: Deadline to withdraw from a Spring '24 Law School course with the notation of W (via LawNet under Digital Forms); the grade of F will be recorded for withdrawals after this date.

Thurs. Feb. 15: Final opportunity to complete the Optional Practical Training (OPT) Certification - if this applies to you, please complete the form and review the F-1 OPT website.

Fri. Feb. 16 at 4:00 p.m. ET - Deadline to submit Student Mental Health and Wellness Survey

Student Services

Mindfulness, Emotional Segregation and Connecting Across Difference - Wed. Feb. 14, 12:15-1:00 p.m. in JG 103.  Mindfulness practices can help us to appreciate the uniqueness (and sometimes even strangeness) of our experience and enhance our capacity to empathize with the experience of others. Profs. E. Emens, K. Thomas, and CLS students will discuss the role of mindfulness in their lives, work, and research. Register here to help reduce food waste.

Graduation Info Session - Thurs. Feb. 15, 12:10-1:00 p.m. in JG 104. Hear from various offices at Columbia about graduation and post-graduation services! Food will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please register here to help reduce food waste.

Bar Strategies Workshop - Fri. Feb. 16, 10:00-2:30 p.m. in JG 101. Registration is limited, if you have already registered and can no longer attend, please adjust your registration to allow for the greatest participation. This interactive session will provide students with a well-structured strategy for approaching each segment of the bar exam. Through engaging activities and practice with bar exam questions, attendees will have the opportunity to develop strong test-taking skills.

Dialogue Across Difference Mini-Grant Program - Apply by Fri. Feb. 16: Grantees will receive funding for a project that fosters a resilient and inclusive community of learners, who can engage with diverse perspectives and navigate challenging conversations with a shared commitment to mutual understanding and respect.

Student Mental Health and Wellness Survey due by Fri. Feb 16 at 4:00 p.m.: The Student Affairs Committee seeks your input through participation in a brief anonymous survey, intended to advise our student-facing offices, faculty, and staff to better support student health and wellness at CLS. The Committee is grateful for your honest insights into our student body's mental health and wellness. Student Services will be raffling a series of prizes for participants, including CLS-branded swag and Flex Dollars for use on and around campus
