Early Journal Application: The application period is currently open and closes this Weds. Mar. 29 at 11:59 a.m. You can learn more about journals by flipping through the slide presentation, reading the Journal Day Handbook, perusing the website, and/or attending recruitment events. Please note that the Handbook and slides are UNI locked.

Awakening Our Democracy: Affirmative Action - Thurs. Mar. 30, 12:00-1:30 p.m. in Low Library Rotunda. This discussion will explore the significant questions surrounding the two cases on affirmative action that are currently before the Supreme Court. President Lee C. Bollinger will offer opening remarks based on his newly released work, A Legacy of Discrimination: The Essential Constitutionality of Affirmative Action. Panelists include Prof. Olatunde C. Harbor Voices: A Celebration of Immigrant Composers in America - Thurs. Apr. 6, 7:00-9:00 p.m. in JG 107 & Arts & Crafts. DPLI Innovation Grantee Xiaoyu Huang cordially invites you to this program featuring classical music performers from CLS. The event will comprise a recital of music by immigrant composers followed by a reception where guests will have the opportunity to interface with immigration attorneys, advocates, and students and community members interested in immigrants' rights and immigration reform. Professional Clothing Collection: DPLI Innovation Grantee Chineze Osakwe is accepting donations of professional clothing to be donated to neighborhood organizations in NY, CT, and Philadelphia that assist previously incarcerated individuals, immigrants and refugees, and women survivors of domestic violence. If you have any work or work-adjacent attire (blazers, dress shoes, loafers, flats, ties, blouses, dress shirts, suits, water bottles, backpacks, totes, etc.) please consider donating them. Collection will take place Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:00-6:00 p.m. starting this week until Apr. 27, outside of JG 102 A and B. Questions?
