Beyond the Casebook: Hot Topics in Family Law - Weds. Nov. 16, 12:10-1:10 p.m. in JG 106. Profs. Josh Gupta-Kagan, Clare Huntington, and Elizabeth Scott will discuss family law issues generating legal, social, and political controversy. Topics will include reproductive autonomy for minors, the abolition of the child welfare system, the regulation of corporal punishment, access to gender-affirming care for trans youth, parental control over school curricula, and much more. Registration Timeline:
Mon. Nov. 21 - Student Schedules are released in LawNet.
Mon. Nov. 21, 12:00 p.m - Tues. Dec. 6, 10:00 p.m. - Add/Drop Period Phase 1

Credit/Fail Option for 2Ls and 3Ls: You now have the option to elect to have a letter grade changed to a grade awarded on a Credit/Fail (CR/F) basis in one non-mandatory class per semester (for a maximum of 10 credits overall). Students may choose to exercise this option in LawNet until 11:59 p.m. on the final day of scheduled upper-year Law classes, Fri. Dec. 9.

If you are planning to split the credits for your supervised research into two semesters, Fall 2022 and Spring 2023, please fill out the Year Course (YC) Grade form on our Registration Forms website due Thurs. Dec. 22.
