Today, Feb. 26 at 11:59 p.m. - Application deadline for the 2L Racial Justice Fellowship.

Mon. Mar. 4 at 5:00 p.m. - Deadline to submit the Spring 2024 Final Exam Reschedule Request form. Use your Lionmail account when filling out the form. More information on the policies under the Rescheduling a Law School Exam accordion.

Meet the Search Committee: Today!  Feb. 26, 12:10-1:10 p.m. in Case Lounge. Members of the Search Committee will be in attendance to have individual and small group discussions with students on the Dean Search process. Please drop in at any time throughout the lunch hour. Race and Trauma Aware Lawyering - Tues. Feb. 27, 12:10-1:00 p.m. in WJW 209.  Profs. Amber Baylor (Director, Criminal Defense Clinic) and Alejo Rodriguez (S. BATTLE) will have a thought-provoking conversation about the importance of cultivating race- and trauma-aware lawyering techniques in all areas of legal practice. Please register here.

LRAP Resources (for now and later) & Preparing Your Bar Application - Thurs. Feb. 29, 12:10-1:00 p.m. in JG 105. The NYC Bar Association's Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP) will discuss mental health and substance use in the profession, and how to address the problems early. Lunch will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register hereIf you need to amend your law school application, please do so here by April 5. Judicial Careers

Meet the Judges: An Evening w/Judges Kenneth M. Karas, Orelia E. Merchant, and Ramon E. Reyes - Thurs. Feb. 29, 5:10 p.m.-6:10 p.m. in JG 105. What is it like interning, clerking, or pursuing a career in the federal judiciary? BLSA and OJC are honored to host the judges from the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. They will discuss their paths to the bench and their advice for students interested in clerking or becoming judges. Dinner will be provided. RSVP here.

The Fight for Climate Justice and Our Rights to a Safe Future - Weds. Feb. 28, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the International Affairs Building - Herbert Lehman Suite. The Eric H. Holder Jr. Initiative for Civil and Political Rights Student Advisory Board hosts the first installment of “The Politics We Imagine” Conversation Series. Profs. Michael Gerrard and Sheila Foster will discuss recent litigation for climate rights and environmental justice efforts in the US and beyond. Register here.


Study Abroad Application Deadline: Fri. March 1 - 2L students interested in a semester or Global Alliance study abroad for their 3L fall or spring (2024-2025) must submit their online applications by the deadline. Questions: Email Audrey Baker, Director of International Programs.
