Upcoming 1L Deadlines

Apply for the Human Rights Internship Program (HRIP) by Weds. Nov. 30 at 11:59 p.m. The program provides a $9400 stipend (pre-tax) to 1Ls and 2Ls for ten weeks of international human rights work in addition to roundtrip tickets to their placement location. Students must submit an application via CLS Connect and complete the requirements of CSF to be eligible to apply for HRIP.

Complete the 1L Mandatory Professional Development Checklist by Thurs. Dec. 8 at 11:59 p.m. All 1L are required to complete the checklist by the deadline. The only exception is for 1Ls who have (1) secured a private sector position AND (2) have completed the "Opt-Out" form. Since this will only be a small number of 1Ls, ALL 1Ls should expect to complete the full set of mandatory 1L programs - even if you intend to apply for positions in the private sector.
