Upcoming 1L Deadlines
Apply for the Human Rights Internship Program (HRIP) by Weds. Nov. 30 at 11:59 p.m. The program provides a $9400 stipend (pre-tax) to 1Ls and 2Ls for ten weeks of international human rights work in addition to roundtrip tickets to their placement location. Students must submit an application via CLS Connect and complete the requirements of CSF to be eligible to apply for HRIP.
Complete the 1L Mandatory Professional Development Checklistby Thurs. Dec. 8 at 11:59 p.m. All 1L are required to complete the checklist by the deadline. The only exception is for 1Ls who have (1) secured a private sector position AND (2) have completed the "Opt-Out" form. Since this will only be a small number of 1Ls, ALL 1Ls should expect to complete the full set of mandatory 1L programs - even if you intend to apply for positions in the private sector.

Nuts & Bolts of Applying for Summer Judicial Internships - Today at 12:10- 1:10 p.m. in JG 101. OJC and upper-year students who served as summer judicial interns will have a conversation about applying for summer judicial internship positions and interning in chambers.

DOROT Thanksgiving Meal Delivery - Volunteers Needed. This Thanksgiving, warm the heart of an older neighbor. Give a little time, make a big impact. Financial & Child Care Financial Wellness Resources - Students experiencing unexpected financial need, including food and housing insecurity, may be eligible for additional assistance. To apply for emergency assistance, complete the funding request form.
Lawyers Assistance Program - A free, confidential service available to law students and their family members in NYC who are struggling with alcohol or drug abuse, depression, anxiety and stress, as well as other addictions and mental health issues.
