Please participate in the National College Health Assessment Survey. On Fri. Feb. 17, you should have received an email invitation to complete the University-wide online survey from the American College Health Association titled "Survey Inside: National College Health Assessment." It is important to ensure that the voices of CLS students are well represented so we ask that you complete the survey as soon as possible. Your participation is voluntary and your responses will be kept strictly confidential. Everyone who completes the survey will be included in the drawing for daily prizes and a final drawing to win a $100 gift card (one winner per school!). Meet and Greet w/ the Hon. Catharine F. Easterly, Assoc. Judge of the D.C. Court of Appeals - Mon. Mar. 6, 4:00-5:00 p.m. in WJW 309. OJC will speak to the Hon. Catharine F. Easterly, Assoc. Judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, about her path to the bench, including her time as a public defender. Navigating the Judiciary as a Woman of Color - Tues. Mar. 7, 12:10-1:10 p.m. in JG 105. Empowering Women of Color (EWOC) and the Office of Judicial Clerkships (OJC) will welcome Judges Eunice C. Lee (Circuit Judge, Second Circuit), Jennifer E. Willis (Magistrate Judge, SDNY), and Valerie Figueredo (Magistrate Judge, SDNY). The judges will discuss their pathways to the bench, experiences as women of color in the federal judiciary, and give advice to students who may be interested in becoming judges. External organizations also share writing competitions, scholarships, and educational opportunities through this site.
Financial & Child Care Financial Wellness Resources - Students experiencing unexpected financial need, including food and housing insecurity, may be eligible for additional assistance. To apply for emergency assistance, complete the funding request form.
