- LCI: Lawyering with Community Movements - Wed. March 9, 12:10- 1:10 p.m. in JG 103.  A conversation with Soffiyah Elijah, Executive Director of Alliance of Families for Justice, and Derecka Purnell, CLS Scholar in Residence and author of Becoming Abolitionists: Police, Protests, and the Pursuit of Freedom. Prof. Amber Baylor and Omavi Shukur, Practitioner-in-Residence at the Initiative for a Just Society, will co-moderate this discussion. Lunch will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Sponsored by the Lawyers, Community and Impact series, the Vice Dean of Intellectual Life, and the Office of Student Services.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to learn both about career trajectories in the public sector as well as the evolution of what it means to be openly LGBTQ+ in the legal community! - Join OJC and CLWA for a conversation with Judge Robin Rosenbaum, Eleventh Circuit - Wed. March 9, 12:10-1:10 p.m on Zoom. Judge Rosenbaum has served on the Eleventh Circuit since 2014. Before being elevated to the Circuit Court, Judge Rosenbaum served on the District Court for the Southern District of Florida as a magistrate judge and, later, as a district court judge. Prior to taking the bench, she worked at the Department of Justice, in private practice, and at the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida. - Our office sent out an email about Curricular Practice Training (CPT) for F-1 Visa Holders. More information about CPT is here. If your program has an earlier start date in May, you can apply for a start date variance by completing this form.

The Exam Reschedule Request form is now open. The form closes on Thur. 3/10 at 3:00 p.m. (EST). You no longer need to fill out the form to reschedule same-day and back-to-back exams. Our office now automatically makes those adjustments. However please email us if you do not want your same day and back-to-back exams rescheduled. DOROT's Passover Package Delivery Program. This program brings hundreds of older adults and volunteers together to share warmth and companionship.  Join us in Manhattan or Westchester for this incredible volunteer opportunity and bring joy to an isolated older adult in the community.  Volunteers will:   
1. Pick up a Passover Package   
2. Deliver the package to an older adult   
3. Connect with the older adult by phone for a 20-30 minute friendly phone call 

Advanced registration is required.

Evening Shuttle

An on-demand, point-to-point Public Safety Evening Shuttle by Via. Additionally, the Intercampus Shuttle runs Monday to Saturday, excluding University holidays. Safety Escorts are also available 7 p.m.-3 a.m. 7 nights/week.

Back-up Child Care

Full-time enrolled Law School students can receive up to 60 hours of back-up care per academic year through Bright Horizons.
