Join us for an discussion with Professor Katherine Franke. Prior to the event, we ask that you listen to Repair, a compelling exploration of the years immediately following the Civil War, when experiments in reparations were conducted in two southern states. Professor Franke will explain how racial inequality remained embedded in those efforts, leading to their failure, as well as we consider reparations in the present.

Coffee, tea, and donuts will be served!

More Summer Job Search Tips
  • We recommend starting with a list of 15-20 employers to apply to, directly and through fairs.
  • Meet with an SJI adviser ASAP to construct a plan.
  • For quick review, submit materials to SJI's 1L Portal.
  • Do not rely solely on the PILC Fair. One additional opportunity: the Spring Virtual On-Campus Interview Program. See the sidebar note.
