Columbia Law School Class Day Tickets are Available Beginning Weds. Apr. 12! Graduating students can now request up to six (6) tickets for their guests. Please use this LINK to request tickets by Fri. Apr. 28 at 11:59 p.m. Graduating students do NOT need a ticket for themselves. Please note that these are NOT the University Commencement tickets.

University Commencement Tickets are Available! Online registration for tickets is required for graduating students and their guests. Please use this LINK to request graduate tickets by Fri. May 12 at 11:59 p.m. Graduate degree candidates may request up to two (2) tickets for their guests. Please note that these are NOT the Law School Class Day Tickets.

July 2023 Bar Exam: If you plan on taking the July 2023 NYS Bar Exam, your application must be filed between April 1 - April 30. If you miss the deadline the next opportunity to sit for the bar is February 2024. Visit NYS Board of Law Examiners (NYS BOLE) for detailed information on the New York State bar examination application and requirements, including applying for disability-related accommodations.

Credit/Fail (CR/F) rule: 2Ls and 3Ls may elect to have a letter grade changed to Credit/Fail (CR/F) in one non-mandatory class per semester (for a maximum of 10 credits overall). Please submit the digital Grade Adjustment Form on LawNet by Weds. Apr. 26 at 11:59 p.m. Please refer to the email we sent out for further information on this rule.

Fireside Chat with Former Supreme Court Justice Breyer - Thurs. Apr. 13, 4:30-5:45 p.m. in Case Lounge. Retired Justice Stephen G. Breyer will reflect on his tenure on the Supreme Court, the role and relationship of Justices and their clerks, and more. Justice Breyer will be joined in conversation by four members of the Columbia Law faculty, all of whom have served as his clerks. Click here for more information. Reuben Mark Initiative for Organizational Character and Leadership - Organizational Leadership Series: Lunchtime Panel Q&A w/ David Anderman - Former SpaceX GC - Mon. Apr. 17, 12:15-1:15 p.m in WJW 309. The discussion, moderated by Prof. Eric Talley, will focus on David's leadership role at Stellar Ventures and how it has been shaped by his business, legal, public policy, and philanthropic experiences throughout his career. General Counsel Panel: A Conversation on Values-Drives Leadership. Weds. Apr. 19, 12:10-1:10. Location TBD. This discussion with Michele Warman, retired GC at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Mike Ullmann ’83, retired GC at Johnson & Johnson, and Michele Coleman Mayes, current GC at the New York Public Library, will give an inside look on how they have grappled with instilling values into their organizations while taking risks that align with the interests of senior leadership. The conversation will be moderated by Professor Susan Sturm. Lunch will be served and RSVP is required.
Columbia Health's Sexual Violence Response is hosting the following virtual programs: Disrupting the Culture of Online Sexual Violence - Fri. Apr. 14, 12:00-1:30 p.m. Speaker Adam Dodge (EndTAB) discusses what abuse in online spaces looks like, how different genders experience it, and how we can be part of the solution.
- Kinky and Curious: Skills for Consensual Kink 101 - Tues. Apr. 18, 6:00-7:00 p.m. Sex and Pleasure Educator Luna Matatas will be busting myths about kink, teaching skills like communicating your fantasy, giving and receiving consent, exploring fantasies, and navigating shame.
